SCIdataVR aims at transforming scientific and artistic exchanges and data processing through an immersive and collaborative solution allowing several users, physically or virtually gathered through a computer network and virtual reality headsets and controllers, to:
Users can then find themselves together on Mars, Saturn or elsewhere. On site, they can work completely immersed in data packets of multiple dimensions that can be easily manipulated. Currently, SCIdataVR allows viewing of Martian data cubes from observations of the OMEGA instrument of the Mars Express space mission as well as a vortex generated by a simulation of the climate of Saturn (DYNAMICO IPSL modeler). SCIdataVR is based on the cervval DigiTwin platform.
