The Hidden music of Leonardo - 3D virtual stage
Real-time setting of a virtual scene for the creation of multi-viw point dynamic projection masks with sixteen depth sensors, eighteen computers and three video projectors. Doulce Mémoire concert with four musicians and two singers.
The Taste of music
We are in search of the secret music of Leonardo da Vinci's paintings, those that resonate with his themes or his poetic universe: a scientific approach to the discovery of contemporary music of Vinci, but also eminently poetic to enter into the mental universe of this genius. Unpublished works by composers Tinctoris, Agricola, Heinrich Isaac and Tromboccino will be explored. "Minor and unfortunate sister of the painting, the music vanishes right away," wrote Leonardo da Vinci in his treatise on painting. Doulce Mémoire's project aims at finding it.
Painting out of music
The visual creation of the concert starts from this hypothesis, which is both imaginary and somewhat anachronistic: music is the source of painting. The scene discovered by the audience is then a white canvas in which musicians, dressed in white, take place. The light, white, frames the canvas and clearly enhances the virginity of teh birth of a concert when the audience does not yet know what they are about to listen and watch. Three projection surfaces determined by dynamic digital masks: musicians' bodies, stage background and stage make it possible to put the first light colors of the first sound chords.
