des Mondes de traverse follows curiosity and delight through the exploration of hybrid and interactive phisical universes, both immersive and virtual. des Mondes de traverse builds interactive and immersive universes for seventy-two visitors linked to a virtual universe for two immersed visitors wearing virtual reality glasses. des Mondes de traverse proposes three universes, two large scale art-science installations, workshops, discussions and animations integrating visitors as spectators and actors at the same time, and as objects and subjects of an artistic and scientific research.
des Mondes de traverse follows the paradigm offered by the deep universe of Vois moi à travers toi, relativistic composition created in 2015 at La Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie by des Vues de l’esprit for visitors, sensors, loudspeakers, computers and video beamers. Taking back the concepts of Vois moi à travers toi, the first of the three universes of des Mondes de traverse, this project is visible as a long-lasting installation at Université Paris-Saclay and as an autonomous structure, transportable and mountable inside and outside the university.
des Mondes de traverse offer a place for digital living arts. Therein, Les Actes du désert, an initiatory journey of a young dancer looking for his origins in the desert of Mali, were created on November 19 and 20, 2017 at Mains d'œuvres and represented on April 12, 2018 at Le sas>201.
des Mondes de traverse is a digital artwork created by des Vues de l’esprit ; an openning of Le sas, science-art-society group ; produced by La métonymie, in partnership with the IR4M, the Lab-STICC, the IAS, the LIMSI, the CNRS and the Université Paris-Sud, Université Paris-Saclay, with the sponsorship of the Conseil général de l’Essonne and of the program Science et Société of La Diagonale Paris-Saclay.
