A Whole World / Tout un monde

Biocentric art-science immersion for visitors, sensors, loudspeakers, computers and video-projectors.

Warm, dry, wet, cold, living beings are at the same time elementary, precise, in motion, in the airs, dense and subtle. Beings form a whole world in their own right. They fly the air, swim the water, burn the fire, walk the dirt. We might well turn around it, we are made of parts of ourselves, we are an image augmented by the others, a reflection of everyone, a world inspired by the one in which we evolve, deep inside our bodies. And for sure, we do not make a whole world of it.

Tout un monde is based on whole-body image acquisitions of a human being, on tridimensional volume image rendering, on the control of tridimensional avatars and on the sensing of visitors' motion. Tout un monde reflects the inside of avatars attributed to visitors in an elementary environment in a physical state of gas, liquid or solid generated in real-time. Visitors can interact, bring to life their avatars, travel through them and discover a whole world that was hidden to them until now.
